Piolo Pascual Will Not Leave Local Career

Actor-singer Piolo Pascual said that he would never leave his work in the Philippines for an international career.

"Hindi ko iiwanan ang Pilipinas kung may pagkakataon katulad nito na makapag-perform sa ibang bansa I'll gladly do it pero base ko pa din ang Pilipinas, hindi magbabago 'yon," Pascual said, after his successful promotional tour in Malaysia for his album "Piolo Pascual: Songs of the Decades."

Pascual, who was accompanied by executives of ABS-CBN's music outfit Star Records, visited some record stores selling his album in Malaysia.

The actor also performed for his Filipino fans who gave him a warm reception.

Aside from Malaysia, Pascual is also set to visit Singapore and Hong Kong to promote his album.

"It's a collection of songs of the decades released only in the Asian market. We already have the hard copy in Malaysia, pwede ng mag-download sa Singapore and soon sa Hong Kong. So sana po tangkilikin natin ang album na ito, so thanks to everyone for getting a copy," he said.

Before going to Malaysia, Pascual's newest album was already declared quintuple platinum

"There's a certain boost na talagang gusto mo pang pagalingin, mag-record ulit at gusto mo pang maglabas ng album. So sobrang regalo, sobra, sobrang pasasalamat at bumibenta pa siya sa mga records bar, so sobrang happy ako," Pascual said.
