Actor-comedian Vhong Navarro has expressed excitement to work again with action star Robin Padilla in the upcoming sitcom, “Todomax.”“Ang tagal namin hindi nagkatrabaho, kaya nga na-miss namin ang isa’t isa. Ang sarap ng kuwentuhan, ito, biruan,” Navarro told “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Thursday.
Navarro and Padilla first worked together in the defunct sitcom, “Pwedeng-pwede,” which paved way to the former's success in show business.
“Ang nagbigay ng tulay para sa akin ang pagiging sidekick ay ‘yon pong idol kong si Robin Padilla,” Navarro said.
He added, “Nag-start kaming magkasama sa ‘Pwedeng-pwede,’ tapos nakita niya na ayon maganda yung tandem bonding namin binigyan niya agad ako ng pelikula o project na maging sidekick niya.”
Likewise, Padilla has extended his enthusiasm to work with Navarro in another project.
He also expressed how happy he is to see Navarro making his own name in showbiz.
“Maganda yang kanyang pagsikat, sana ay maging parte pa ako ng pagmayani ng kanyang kasikatan,” he said.
The powerhouse cast of “Todomax” has already started preparing for the show that will be aired on ABS-CBN.
Pokwang will also be a part of the show to spice up its comic relief.
“Si Vhong ang bahala sa comedy saka si Ms. Poks (Pokwang). May aksyon din ‘to, pero siyempre ang importante dito yung values,” said Padilla.
