After much speculation about the status of their relationship, Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion arrived at the 2011 Star Magic Ball, looking happy and at peace with whatever misunderstanding they have had recently. "We're here for the ball. We're excited because it's our third year together. I am happy that she agreed to be my date," said Piolo in an interview with ABS-CBN reporters at the Manila Peninsula Hotel last night, September 3. KC added that this year's Star Magic ball is extra special for her since she's already part of ABS-CBN's roster of talents. "Now I am also with Star Magic so talagang it's really my family now. Dati parang adopted lang ako eh. But ngayon I'm really their daughter na. So it's nice kasi kilala ko na halos lahat ng artists and staff ang Star Magic."
Although they refused to give details about their recent spat, Piolo was quick to deny circulating rumors that he and KC have broken up. He also claimed that they've surpassed the troubles they've been experiencing as a couple lately. "Yes [naayos at napagusapan na namin]. We're happy. We're together. We're relieved. Wala ng problema."
It's pretty obvious that the two are still in the process of working out their differences. But more than anything else, KC seemed ok especially now that they've had a chance to spend time together. "Masaya ako na ok na kami. And I'm really hoping this time na tuloy tuloy na. Happy kami kasi meron akong time na binigyan niya ako ng time to worry. Pero ngayon, wala ng problema."
