The Star Magic ball is one of the most anticipated showbiz events since it’s that time of the year when Kapamilya artists get together in their most fabulous formal attire. They’ve actually spent weeks choosing and fitting gowns for the ladies and suits for the men. Each one of them is probably filled with excitement since their effort to look their best will be rewarded with special awards during the program proper. But aside from the glitz and glamour, it’s also exciting to see who among your favorite celebrity couples will be gracing the event. People are particularly interested to see whether or not Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion will make it to the party in light of the controversies surrounding their relationship. John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao will definitely get a lot of press as well since they’re rarely seen together in public. It also remains to be seen if the ball would serve as the perfect venue for Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo to admit the real score between them.
Even celebrities who are currently single have also thought of bringing a date along with them this year. For instance, Jake Cuenca, who recently broke up with Melissa Ricks, has invited his My Neighbor’s Wife co-star Lovi Poe to be his date for the night. Sam Milby on the other hand has decided to take his sister with him instead. As for Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, let’s just wait and see if they’re flying solo or with a new partner this time around.
