Piolo Pascual is Happy Together With KC Concepcion

After much speculation about the status of their relationship, Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion arrived at the 2011 Star Magic Ball, looking happy and at peace with whatever misunderstanding they have had recently. "We're here for the ball. We're excited because it's our third year together. I am happy that she agreed to be my date," said Piolo in an interview with ABS-CBN reporters at the Manila Peninsula Hotel last night, September 3.



KC added that this year's Star Magic ball is extra special for her since she's already part of ABS-CBN's roster of talents. "Now I am also with Star Magic so talagang it's really my family now. Dati parang adopted lang ako eh. But ngayon I'm really their daughter na. So it's nice kasi kilala ko na halos lahat ng artists and staff ang Star Magic."



Although they refused to give details about their recent spat, Piolo was quick to deny circulating rumors that he and KC have broken up. He also claimed that they've surpassed the troubles they've been experiencing as a couple lately. "Yes [naayos at napagusapan na namin]. We're happy. We're together. We're relieved. Wala ng problema."



It's pretty obvious that the two are still in the process of working out their differences. But more than anything else, KC seemed ok especially now that they've had a chance to spend time together. "Masaya ako na ok na kami. And I'm really hoping this time na tuloy tuloy na. Happy kami kasi meron akong time na binigyan niya ako ng time to worry. Pero ngayon, wala ng problema."

KC Concepcion Receives Coral Earrings From Piolo Pascual

Amid rumors that her relationship with actor Piolo Pascual has gone sour, a smiling KC Concepcion showed off a pair of earrings that she received from her boyfriend of 10 months.



The public first saw Concepcion's dangling coral earrings with emeralds during the 5th Star Magic Ball on Saturday night, where she had Pascual as her date.



According to her, this is the first time that someone gave her jewelry.



"Mahilig ako sa emeralds at sa corals," she said.



Concepcion, who got sick last week, returned to hosting "The Buzz" on Sunday. During the celebrity talk show, she thanked her fans for supporting her and Pascual even in tough times.



"I'd like to thank 'yung mga nagmamahal sa amin ni PJ sa sobrang faith ninyo sa amin, sa sobrang paniniwala nyo sa love," she said.



"Salamat sa lahat ng masaya 'pag masaya kami at malungkot 'pag malungkot kami."



Concepcion also thanked her family as well as Pascual's.



"Salamat sa pamilya ni PJ na talagang mahal na mahal ko. At sa pamilya ko na hindi ko lang mahal, mahal na mahal na sobra pero alam kong mahal na mahal din nila ako, salamat po," she said.



Speculations that Concepcion and Pascual have called it quits have surfaced after the former's mother, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, gave a warning to anyone who is romantically involved with her daughter.



"I just want whoever it is that will be in my daughter's life to love her and take care of her the way we would. Kasi hindi ko pinalaki 'yan para i-take for granted lang o balewalain," Cuneta earlier said.



Concepcion made it clear, however, that she and Pascual are now okay.



"Kagabi (Saturday night) nakapag-usap kami (Pascual) ulit at tinanggap ko siya nang buong buo at iniintindi ko siya nang buong-buo. Kasi importante na kapag nag-commit ka sa isang relasyon na hindi mo siya iiwan sa ere," she said.



She also gave this message to Pascual, "'Yung pinromise ko sayo na kaya mo to, naniwala ako na kaya. Andito ako para hawakan ang kamay mo. Talagang magiging patient at understanding ako hangga't kaya ko."



After all these, Concepcion joked about her new earrings.



"On a lighter note, ang sarap din pala ng ganitong moments kasi nagkakaroon ako ng gifts. Hindi, joke lang," she said.

KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual Arrive Together at Star Magic Ball

To prove that their relationship is going strong, actor Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion arrived together to attend the 5th year of the Star Magic Ball at the Peninsula Manila Hotel in Makati.



“We are good, we are excited. Okay naman, we are happy and we’re together. Walang problema,” Pascual said on Saturday.



“It’s our first Magic ball together and it’s nice,” Concepcion added.



The actress said she’s happy that everything turned well after she and Pascual had a talk.



“Masaya kami at nag-usap kami,” she said.



The sweethearts added that they will enjoy their night at the Star Magic Ball.



Recently, Pascual and Concepcion celebrated their 10th month as a couple.

Boy Abunda Talks About KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual

King of Talk Boy Abunda admitted that he got surprised upon learning about the statements made by Megastar Sharon Cuneta on the relationship of her daughter, KC Concepcion.



In an interview with Push.com.ph, Abunda said he is sure Cuneta would not have reacted that way if there is no reason.



“Sigurado ako na mayroong pinanggagalingan. And Sharon is very intelligent. She's a very nurturing person. She's very emotional. So noong napanood ko iyon, I want to know the story of Shawie, I want to listen. She's a friend. With Kristina (Concepcion) naman, I am sure magkakasalubong kami and she'll share with me her story,” he said.



Abunda maintained, though, that he will not give his "intelligent comment" on the matter yet since he wants to listen to both sides of the story.



He said that although Concepcion is his co-host on ABS-CBN celebrity talk show "The Buzz," he never had the chance to talk to the actress about her relationship with Pascual.



“I haven’t spoken to both of them. You know what my reaction was? I want to speak to either Shawie or KC so that I could get the right context. Hindi ako pwedeng mag-komento ng hindi ko alam kung ano ang pinanggagalingan. Yes, I am curious also. I’d like to find out the story behind this issue just like you do,” he said.



Meanwhile, Abunda hopes that Concepcion and Pascual could patch things up.



“I’ve seen them together in a dressing room for what, two minutes? But I haven’t been with them together for long. Kaya wala ako masyadong input on how they are as a couple. Ang akin lamang ay I wish it works. I wish lahat ng ito…there’s a brewing something. Sana maayos talaga," he said.



"Kasi agree ako na malaman at matalinhaga talaga ['yung sinabi ni Sharon], na ano mang ibig sabihin nun ay hindi pa naklaklaro pa. Pero I am sure maklaklaro ito in the next few days."

Sharon Cuneta Talks About KC Concepcion's Relationship Problem

Even though she is in constant communication with her eldest daughter, Sharon Cuneta admits she does not feel she has the liberty to talk about KC’s personal matters to the press. “Of course. That’s not for me to say. But she’s a strong girl. My girl is strong and level-headed and she has us, she has her family. Yes I would like her to be happier. Basta ang paalala ko lang, in general, is don’t you ever allow yourself to be mistreated or not held dear because baka ang tatay ko umikot sa libingan niya. Kasi lahat kami parang lumaki siya ng matino, lumaki siya ng mahal na mahal naming, yun lang naman ang gusto ko. Uulitin ko yung sinabi ng daddy ko noon, kahit metro aide maging asawa niyo, basta siya yung talagang mahal na mahal. Yung alagang alaga,” she stresses. Last August 23, the Megastar attended a story conference meeting for yet an untitled movie with Star Cinema which starts shooting this coming October.



Sharon admits that it’s only normal for mothers and daughters to have slight disagreements every once in a while but they have always managed to patch things up eventually. But the 45-year-old actress says that KC moving out of their home did not become an issue in their family. “Diyos ko last year pa ata or early this year. That was never an issue. Kasi alam naman namin na lilipat siya. Tsaka yung tampuhan, yung ganyan, tampo-tampuhan hindi naman naaalis sa mag-ina yun. Pero hindi kami yung type na mag-aaway, hindi. parang minsan pinapalaki lang ng tao,” she says.



When it comes to matters of the heart, Sharon says she trusts KC to handle things the right way. “Hindi ako nakikialam sa kanila. Pero siyempre anak ko si KC. Hindi pa nangyayari ito pero anak ko siya, if dumating yung panahon na kahit sino pa yung ka-involve niya, ganun naman lahat ng nanay ata, pag may nilapit yung anak mo, siyempre naman magre-react ka kahit papano. But she’s my daughter and she has a good head on her shoulders. I don’t meddle in her affairs kahit sa work niya, sa personal na buhay. But if she asks me to, I certainly will,” she explains.



Sharon shares that as much as she wants KC to make her own decisions, she hopes her daughter will also make the right choice and choose to be with someone who will treat well. ”I just want whoever it is that will be in my daughter’s life to love her and take care of her the way we would. Kasi hindi ko pinalaki yan para i-take for granted lang or babaliwalain. That’s very unfair. I don’t know. I’m not free to talk about what she’s going through. Hindi ko alam kung anong nakikita. Whatever she decides naman alam niya dun ako eh. Kasi hindi ko naman kayang idikta yung happiness niya. Kaya lang, never akong nagkulang sa paalala at never akong magkukulang sa pagpapaalala. At kung kakailanganin, ako na mismo ang kukuha sa anak ko kung hindi niya kayang gumawa ng ibang bagay para sa sarili niya. Dahil kilala ko siya, anak ko siya eh. Basta, anak ko yan, pinalaki ko yan ng matino. So dapat lang tratuhin siya ng napaka-espesyal din,” she says.

No Wedding Bells for KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual This Year

Piolo Pascual on Wednesday dispelled the rumor of wedding plans he has with girlfriend KC Concepcion this year.

In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” the Pascual clarified that he and KC are trying to taking things slow.

“Darating ‘yon. Ito ‘yong mga bagay na hindi natin dapat pinangungunahan. Let it just happen. It’s better just to go with the flow,” he said.

Meanwhile, Pascual said he is thankful for the triple platinum award garnered by his album “Decades 2”.

He gladly extended his gratitude to all his fans and supporters.

“I’m just really thankful for all the support people have given me,” he said.
